Do You Have Location Recommendations?


I do! While I am happy to shoot in your location of choice, I also have a list of my personal favorite recommendations depending on your preference, style and vision. This can all be discussed during your booking consulation.




How Do I Book A Session Or Collection?


You can find the "Book Now" page under Pricing and Info. Please submit an inquiry and we will book your session or collection based on your availability. Once we have a date nailed down, I request a non-refundable retainer to hold your appointment as well as a digitally signed agreement for services (both are also found on the booking page).




How Do I Access My Digital Images?


Upon completion of professional editing and touch ups, you will receive an email with your log-in info, password and download instructions for your private gallery. All of your digital images will be in high resolution. Your gallery will be located on my client website... www.amaprints.com.




When Do I Recieve My Finished Photos?


For Weddings: You will receive a "Sneak Peak" gallery within 1 week from wedding day, which includes approximately 20-25 photos from your big day! The entire finished gallery will be ready for access 6-8 weeks from wedding day. For General Photoshoots: You will receive a "Sneak Peak" gallery within 1 week from session date (up to 10 images) Finished galleries will be ready for access approximately 3-4 weeks from shoot date, unless otherwise specified.




What Is The Difference Between "Family" & "Extended Family" Photo Shoot?


A regular family session allows up to 5 family members. An extended family session is 6 family members or more. Both sessions can include pets!




What Is The Age Range For Newborn Photo Shoots?


I prefer to work with newborns between 0-2 weeks old. Generally the younger the little one, the easier the shoot will be for the baby. Exceptions can be made up to 4 weeks old.




What Should I Expect In A Newborn Session?


This is a great question. The most important thing to remember is that no newborn session is the same and every little one responds to this differently. I completely understand how fragile a newborn session can be and am well experienced in balancing naps, time to feed, diaper changes, breaks, etc. Together, we will make this the best experience we can for your little one! Here are my quick notes: • I come to you, in the comfort of your home. • I will need an easily warmed room with lots of natural light. Space heaters are awesome! • Be prepared for LOTS of patience, LOTS of breaks and LOTS of small tiny feedings to keep baby calm, sleeping and happy! • Don’t overthink expectations, newborn sessions are all about calm energy and patience • Trust me with your little one, as I have over 10 years of experience in handling newborns and I will be right there to do most of the magic & work (your job will be to sit back and try to relax) • Props: I will have always have a solid white backdrop, one large staging bean bag, one posing pillow and a fur blanket. I welcome whatever you’d like to add (ie: buckets, baskets, swaddles, wraps, beanies, booties, sentimental pieces). • Lastly, don’t worry about pee, poo or goo... it will definitely happen, trust me! • All of my blankets & linens are washed in organic baby safe products.




When Is The Best Time For Senior Photos?


Generally, most seniors choose the summer or fall before the start of Senior year. But Senior sessions can be booked anytime within 4 weeks of your yearbook deadline. Please make sure to confirm your deadline with me at the time of booking.




Do You Travel For A Photo Shoot?


Absolutely! Any session outside of 2 hours from my home (Loveland, Colorado) will require a small travel fee but I'm more than happy to travel to wherever you are! Any session outside of 4 hours from my home will also require lodging for one night. I am 100% happy and excited to travel out-of-state or even out of the country to capture your special moment. Do You Shoot Anything Else Besides Weddings & Families?


YES! I have extensive experience in large event photography, concert photography, interior design, location and food photography. I am open to any proposal you may have...Let's Talk!




How Should I Prepare For A Boudoir Session?





What Is The Difference In Booking The "Baby & Belly" Package?


The main difference is that it gives you a $75 discount per shoot. If you're already planning on having a maternity session and a newborn or baby session, then you might as well save a little cash! BUT...my favorite part of this package is that I get to follow you along your journey and really make the process a special one for you and baby every step of the way.




Do You Do Destination Weddings?


I am a HAPPY camper when I'm traveling... even more so if it's for your big day! Yes, I travel for weddings & elopements. If you are planning a destination wedding, let me know what you're looking for and we'll create a custom package to take care of everything you need with a budget you can afford!




Do I Need A Second Photographer For My Wedding Day?


Adding a Second photographer is a GREAT way to make sure your day has full coverage. Without being too obvious, having a second photographer allows for two points of view, coverage in two places at once (ie: bride and groom getting ready) and double the photog love! With that said, it's NOT essential. I promise that your day will be completely covered (and nothing missed or compromised) whether you opt for a second photographer or not.




What's The Best Way To Post My Photos On Social Media?

The brutal truth; sadly your photos are never going to look objectively great on Facebook. When you upload an image to Facebook, the platform “automatically resize and format your photos” so that they’ll display properly for online space saving and optimization on both the site and in the apps. You can, however, take steps to make them look BETTER. First, understand that the photos you been given from AMA, are VERY large in size and resolution, thus problematic for social media posts. While an average photo downloaded from your gallery is approx 5000x3000 pixels (perfect for printings), an optimal size for Facebook is only 1200x600 pixels.
...Work-arounds... 1. Currently, your FB app is automatically set to NOT upload HD (high definition) photos and videos. You can simply go to your FB app settings, find Videos and Photos and then turn ON the ability to upload HD photos to your facebook account. 2. If you are posting in a Facebook album, make sure the box "high quality" is checked 3. You can use an Image Resizing Website prior to posting (such as; picresize.com, resizeyourimage.com, resizeimage.net) to resize a copy of your images suitable for Facebook. Optimal size is 1200x600 pixels

Similar to Facebook, Instagram also optimizes your photos for their platform needs. Optimal Instagram size is 1080 pixels on the widest edge. ...Work-arounds... 1. Make sure your IG settings are set correctly. Settings>Account>Mobile Data Use>Use Less Data - although these settings will SLOW DOWN the speed of your uploads/posts, they will allow for higher quality images. 2. You can use an Image Resizing Website prior to posting (such as; picresize.com, resizeyourimage.com, resizeimage.net) to resize a copy of your images suitable for Instagram. Optimal Size is 1080 pixels widest edge.
